CCF, being established roughly 30 years ago, has always relied on the voluntarism and unwavering dedication of its membership to the club to maintain the site to keep it from falling into disrepair. Some of the original members that built the club are still volunteering their time to projects to maintain the field. We are a smaller club, currently just around 60 members, and we recently had almost half of our membership show up with their families to paint the permanent pilot station shade canopy that is unique to CCF. To survive another 30 years CCF must repair its asphalt runway, which is being eroded by time and mother nature. The repair is very expensive and requires machinery the membership does not have access to without hiring a paving contractor. With this repair the CCF flying site will become the crown jewel of Temescal Valley in the heartland of the Inland Empire. Once Covid restrictions are lifted CCF will once again reach out to our community via the schools, libraries, churches and local community centers to invite children and community members to our field to experience aviation firsthand at a world class facility. CCF looks to the generosity of our  flying family to help us relize these goals.
